Charlies Gutters

Not too much to post about this one... just a simple photo of a gutter installation I did recently of approximately 30' of standard 4" alluminum gutters on the front of the house to add it to the list of things I can do for my customers. 

One word of advice.. I always advise my customers against installing gutters except at points that are necessary to have them such as over door ways that access the house or trouble spots where too much water is collecting around the foundation of the house and needs to be diverted.  Except in those two circumstances, gutters don't add any real value to a home, they only offer one more item of maintenance to contend with regular cleaning and if you don't regularly clean them out they can fill up with leaves, sag and will in some cases actually push water against the eaves of your house causing other issues. In this case it was an area on the front of Charlie's house that met those requirements... Charlie thanked me for the honest advice, and the savings... as he was going to ask me to put them all the way around the house.
